Early in the ZetaTalk saga the Zetas were asked about the concept that one could simply wish away the pole shift. Think positive thoughts, and one might even be able to ascend into the next density, escaping the mess altogether, despite the fact that humans today are not able to avoid cancer or disease, tornadoes, lightning strikes, earthquakes, droughts, floods, and starvation. The concept gains coverts because it offers escape. Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, who found she could go home merely by clicking her heels together three times while wearing the magic red shoes.

ZetaTalk Comment 2/15/2003: Many humans who are currently supported in their physical needs by the farming communities are aghast at the prospect of being thrown on their resources in the Aftertime. The populations in the cities of the world, and in many towns fringed by farming communities, are utterly unfamiliar with step one of feeding oneself. Thus, New Age talk about the world evading the pole shift if all hold hands and fervently wish it to be so, or if all change their ways and become Service-to-Others overnight, are popular with these folks. They simply don't know what else to do, where else to start, and the road seems too long for them to walk, otherwise. Of course, none of this will work, as we have explained. It is a palliative, a tranquilizer, to be taken so one does not worry until the last minute. If this is your intent, to avoid thinking about it, or comfort yourself with a fairy tale, then so be it, but rescue will not happen. Does it happen today, to those starving stick children in Africa? Does it happen today when a Cyclone roars into Bangladesh, drowning families and sweeping the housing out to sea? Does it happen today to those dying in agony with AIDS, or going blind because insects have put parasites into their eyes, mass disease ignored by comfortable industrialized countries?

Wishful thinking goes so far as to suggest that one may escape into another density. Poof, you're out of the nasty stuff and into a type of heaven, just like that. This idea was promulgated in the book The Celestine Prophecy.

In the novel, the Maya civilization left ruins in Peru where the manuscript was found, whereupon the Incas took up residence in the abandoned Maya cities after the Maya had reached an "energy vibration level" which made them cross a barrier into a completely spiritual reality.

As he did in sending Kevin on his way, the technician interacts with the controls, and an immense pulsing light envelops them. Through the light you can barely make out a tube opening up like the one that Diana traveled in before. Then their clothes become transparent and disappear, followed by the melting from the outside in that she experienced before. Then they are gone! The light slowly fades and the room returns to normal.

These concepts, that one can make their reality, wish away nasty stuff, and learn to switch densities at will has apparently been around for a long time.

ZetaTalk Comment 3/19/2011: What is the purpose of such organizations as the Cassiopaeians, who purport that an Ascension into 4th density to avoid the pole shift is possible. If this were possible, then surely there is solid proof, where the media attends an Ascension, an escape into 4th density, and those adhering to the Cassiopaeian belief disappear into thin air in front of the cameras. Prove it, is our statement! They have zero credibility, a zero track record on truthfulness on any of their pronouncements. Why is such a ridiculous theory even contemplated by the public? This is a form of denial, and won't be the last such ridiculous belief that will arise as the Earth changes become more threatening. It sells. It gains converts. Indonesia Reality

Contrast armchair wishful thinking with the reality being experienced by those on the Sunda Plate, the plate tongue holding Indonesia. This has been sinking in steps, since December 23, 2010 and is in the final stages, picking up the pace. The stoic Indonesians have only recently begun looking worried or expressing dissatisfaction with the government's response. Their lands have been heaving and cracking. Rivers rising even without rains in the vicinity, leaving residents to wade along streets or take to boats. The sea roils and crashes, as the Zetas predicted it would, so that fishermen cannot go to sea and are without a source of income. Rice fields are flooded with sea water, ruining the crop. Trains must be re-routed, travel on roads diverted, school exams taken in flooded classrooms, and throughout all, what comes across in photos is helping hands. Children and the elderly being carried or ferried.

Sinking, particularly in Java which is the sinking edge of the plate tongue holding Indonesia, has progressed, as these news articles showing the status since March 17, 2011 show. Of note is an admission by those in charge of the Solo watershed at Bonjonegoro. They admit the level of the Solo in their town is at 13 meters above sea level, but blame this on the river Solo being long, flowing slowly, and not having a high head. Note that after sinking to the 40 foot level, Bonjonegoro would not be able to drain into the sea. It would meet the sea.

Director of Planning and Development Engineering said the flooding in Lamongan and Gresik due to overflow of river Lamong, and not because of overflow Solo. He explained that the area always floods downstream Solo because local topography through which the river along the 600 kilometers is the maximum altitude of only 135 meters above sea level. As a result, water often pooled in downstream areas because they can not quickly flow into the sea.

Also of note is the sudden sinking in the Thailand neck on the Malay peninsula. Though this region has indeed had rain, note that all of the flooding is occurring in areas along coastlines, and in the red, the regions that would be inundated were this Thailand neck to sink 60 feet. Why aren't the inland lake regions affected by the flooding, if it were from the rain?

Food Prices Rising

Whether due to a lack of foodstuffs (demand setting the price) or rising oil prices or government price controls - prices are on the rise. The UN warns that rising oil prices will push food prices higher. Oil is used to produce fertilizer and of course distribution of goods requires fuel.

World food prices have hit new records and oil price spikes could push them even higher, the UN food agency warned as unrest in the Middle East and North Africa hits markets. The Food Price Index, which monitors average monthly price changes for a variety of key staples, rose to 236 points in February from 231 points in January, the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said. It was the highest level since FAO began monitoring prices in 1990.

Price controls or quotas can sometimes backfire. When the price is set too low farmers may protest and withhold their produce. This happened recently in the Ukraine. Even with price controls, the shortage of wheat and buckwheat here is apparent.

Buyers say that supermarkets are not only limiting the sells of groats, but also pasta, vegetable oil and other products that are sold at below average prices. In particular, buckwheat is sold no more than 1 kilogram in one hand, and pasta - no more than 3 kilos. The publication notes that by this government is probably trying to reduce the purchasing boom in the stores and to avoid hoarding the cheap products. However, sellers often close eyes on these requirements, and sell products at different price.

Companies cannot raise prices for their products because of the strict state regulation, while production costs increases due to rising prices of grains. Some companies (mostly - small) have stopped production completely, and those who continue to function, sell flour in small lots and mostly to permanent partners. Earlier, exactly the same situation in the market was with buckwheat.

The weather continues to create crop shortages. In the US, for instance, the combination of drought and a late season freeze in March are affecting harvests.

Almond, peach, plum and other tree fruit farmers in the Central Valley were trying to combat warnings of a hard freeze - when temperatures fall below 28 degrees for three to five hours. Almond, peach, plum and nectarine trees that are in bloom are most vulnerable to freezing temperatures. Kelley said about 35 percent of the almond crop - valued between half a billion and a billion dollars - was in bloom. California produces 80 percent of the world's supply of almonds.

The Zetas have long predicted, since the start of ZetaTalk in 1995, that food shortages would loom as the time of the pole shift approached.

ZetaTalk Prediction 7/15/1995: Going into the cataclysms the weather will become unpredictable, with torrential rainstorms where not expected, and droughts likewise where not expected. Extremes of temperature will be experienced. Unusually warm winters, where the trees and shrubs will start to bud, thinking spring, and then be subjected to frost. Similarly, frosts will come late in the spring, almost into summer, killing the buds which have already put forth their tender shoots. Where today the world balances these situations, shipping produce around the world, during the years coming close to the time of the reappearance of Planet X all parts of the world will experience extremes.

This was covered in 2007 in Issue 55 of this newsletter, and again on April 6, 2008 in Issue 72 of this newsletter when a rice shortage created panic worldwide, and again on February 15, 2009 in Issue 120 of this newsletter when the UN warned of a worldwide crisis, a catastrophic drop in food production looming. Riots are predicted by the USDA and in the UK, due either to high prices or lack of food in the stores. The Zetas have predicted that this is how the food crisis will be presented to the public, in the main - empty shelves. The solution, of course, is family gardens. It is the start of the gardening season throughout the northern hemisphere. Good seeds? Know how to save your own seeds? All this is vital to survival!

ZetaTalk Prediction 6/26/2010: Though governments have not been admitting it, their stores are already depleted. This issue raised it's head on occasion in 2007 and 2008, and the UN reported that wealthy countries were not providing food stuffs to starving nations to the extent that they did formerly. This matter will not be frankly evident until the citizenry starts to starve, and there are not enough stores of cheese and rice and beans to distribute. At first, prices will rise, but governments will impose price freezes so the populace can still purchase what food there is available. We have predicted that the public will simply find the shelves empty, nothing to buy, before they realize the full extent of what is happening.
